Ahtna focuses on the design and construction of federal government and commercial construction and renovation projects. Ahtna is a full service design-build, construction, and construction management provider with expertise in civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering design. Ahtna’s experienced engineering professionals analyze projects holistically and implement creative and cost-effective approaches focused on successfully achieving the owner’s objectives for the project.
Ahtna’s construction support services include marine, civil, horizontal and vertical construction with specific experience in marine dredging, demolition, earthwork, building construction and renovation as well as the removal/installation of site infrastructure and utilities. Our construction professionals include qualified, experienced, and licensed construction managers and supervisors, operators, laborers, and quality and health and safety specialists. Ahtna also has hazardous materials contractors’ licenses and significant experience in and management of asbestos and lead-based paint abatement projects.
Ahtna Design-Build has performed over $150M in government contracts for various federal agencies, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Air Force Civil Engineering Center, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Energy, GSA, and Department of the Interior. Through multiple joint ventures, the company has 15 multi-year IDIQ contracts totaling over $5B in capacity. The company has current or past projects ranging from $50M levee repairs along the Missouri River in Iowa to 200,000+ Gal. new bulk diesel fuel facilities in remote Alaska as well as multi-million dollar dredging and marine construction projects along with numerous civil and new building construction and renovation developments across the country.
