Ahtna focuses on the design and construction of federal government and commercial construction and renovation projects. Ahtna is a full service design-build, construction, and construction management provider with expertise in civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering design. Ahtna’s experienced engineering professionals analyze projects holistically and implement creative and cost-effective approaches focused on successfully achieving the owner’s objectives for the project.
Ahtna’s construction support services include marine, civil, horizontal and vertical construction with specific experience in marine dredging, demolition, earthwork, building construction and renovation as well as the removal/installation of site infrastructure and utilities. Our construction professionals include qualified, experienced, and licensed construction managers and supervisors, operators, laborers, and quality and health and safety specialists. Ahtna also has hazardous materials contractors’ licenses and significant experience in and management of asbestos and lead-based paint abatement projects.
Since the company’s inception, Ahtna has provided comprehensive environmental services ranging from small environmental impact assessments to large-scale and comprehensive site remediation and operation and maintenance of remedial systems. Ahtna supports various federal agencies (e.g., the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. EPA, U.S. Navy, GSA, and the Federal Aviation Administration). Through Ahtna’s extensive experience and technical competence in investigation, design, and construction activities related to environmental science and engineering, Ahtna applies the right blend of technical discipline and management services in order to focus on achieving a better environment.
Ahtna’s experienced environmental engineering and remediation professionals analyze the results of the front-end activities in order to design and construct practical solutions, focusing on cost savings and expedited site closure. Ahtna’s solutions have included a broad range of conventional systems, as well as innovative technologies, such as in-situ enhanced reductive dechlorination, chemical oxidation, bio-cells, and thermal treatment.
